The Bucs got a little too greedy and missed in the NFL Draft 2012 when they made the move from #5 to #7. Dallas leapfrogged the Bucs and took LSU CB Morris Claiborne at #6 in the first round.Tampa management played it off like Barron was the guy they wanted the whole time. The fact that they let a team with a huge hole at safety get ahead of them does support their case. With the draft of 2012 not as solid as it should have been, they will likely be picking early again.
Rhodes injured his knee against Notre Dame in their bowl game at the end of the 2011 season. It was not severe, but for a cover corner it will be crutial if there is any speed drop off. So if he looks strong in 2012, I believe he will be one of the first corners to come off the draft board.
